Q: How do I use the Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel with the bucket method?

A: Dunk the towel into a bucket of car wash (we recommend our Rapid Car Shampoo). If it is heavier than you would like when it comes out then run it through your hand to remove some excess liquid (we like it heavy the first time as we put it on the roof and it has an egg cracking effect of putting suds all over the car).

Use large circular motions on large areas such as the roof or hood. Use two hands when needed on the sides/windows etc.

Hold the bulk in one hand and use the other for cleaning lower areas of your car - to prevent it from hitting the ground.

Rinse as necessary and repeat!

Q: Why don’t you just sell a wash glove?

A: The idea for the Mach 2 Speed Car Wash towel came from using a chenille wash glove on an Audi seven-seater SUV. We realised that the only reason that we used a glove was "because we did". There had to be a better way.

The Mach 2 is the equivalent of six or more wash gloves at once. You can wash the roof or hood of your vehicle in a sweep or two rather than many.

We also improved the fabric to make it much softer than a typical glove and gave it the ability to hold 8-10x its weight in water.

Q: How do I use the Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel with a foam cannon?

A: You can use the Mach 2 Speed once you have fully foamed your car to gently remove dirt. Foam the car and then gently sweep the Mach 2 Speed over the vehicle.

Rinse as required and wring out when the towel becomes too heavy after absorbing too much foam.

Q: How long will my Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel last?

A: 500+ machine washes and tumble dries. It’s extremely durable fabric.

Q: Is the Mach two too heavy when it absorbs water?

A: It can be - however you can run it through your hand (in the shape of a fist) to quickly and easily squeeze liquid from it. You can therefore make it as heavy, or light, as you prefer.

Q: What do you mean by “wash more, rinse less”?

A: The Mach 2 Speed was designed to be as large as possible without becoming cumbersome. This led to its long and narrow design. It is the equivalent of six or more glove surfaces. This means that you can wash an area six or more times larger than you would with a glove before needing to rinse it out. Hence with the Mach 2 Speed you can wash more and rinse less leading to a far quicker and safer car washing experience.

Q: How do I care for my Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel?

A: Machine wash with cold to warm water. You can use a soft detergent however we don’t think it is necessary as the towel will retain some of the car wash and you are attempting to keep the towel 100% free of any residue. Avoid using fabric softener or bleach, as these can damage the fibres and reduce their effectiveness.

Dry the towel on low heat in a tumble dryer or air-dry (best kept out of the sun when drying as the sun can react with minerals in your water to and make fabrics become hard which reduces their effectiveness).

Q: My Mach 2 Speed has become hard rather than soft after I line dried it – what do I do now?

A: Machine wash and tumble dry – it will come out like new. Your towel would have become hard due to minerals in your water being dried by the sun. It will happen to your bed sheets, tea towels etc too!

Q: Can I use the Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel on other surfaces besides my car?

A: Yes, you can use the Mach 2 Speed Car Wash Towel with a chenille weave on other surfaces besides your car, such as boats, motorcycles and RVs. It is also great around the house on windows, mirrors, and household surfaces like countertops and appliances.
